About Me
I previously worked in a lab before taking time off to be with family. I now have a 1 year old son. I was born and raised in Seattle, but have moved around since then, living in Walla Walla, Baltimore, Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. One of my favorite things to do is sit and sip brewed drinks at various cafés or scenic locales. I don't get enough time to relax and read so I prefer to listen to audiobooks on the go. The last three audiobooks which blew me away are "Drive Your Plow over the Bones of the Dead", "A Psalm for the Wild-Built" and "The Bear and the Nightingale".
Goals
This is my first quarter at NSC. I hope to gain skills I can use to get a job, starting with the Full Stack Dev Cert. I also told a friend that I would build him a website for the practice he is starting and I want to be able to deliver! I find that I learn best by doing.
