I like tacos!
Tacos de Asada
Regularly served with the protein, sauce, onion, cilantro. However, depending on the 'Taquero' (or the chef) you can find it topped with fresh and shredded lettuce or cabbage.
Among the proteins you can find:
> Carne Asada
> Chorizo
> Pastor (Marinated Pork)
> Campechano (All proteins mixed)
Tacos de Colores
The direct translation of this would be Colorful Tacos. Named like this because they are filled with a diversity of stew resulting in different tones. Usually only accompanied by pickled jalapeƱo peppers or chile serrano. As the stew of the tacos already have been prepared with a type of salsa. A few of my favorite choice of tacos are:
> Chicharron prensado (pork skin with sauce)
> Rice and spicy beef stew
> Spicy Chipotle Chicken
> Cactus Leaf and Beans
