FOR STUDENTS
Let's Grow a Forest!
In EarthWilders, we will work together to grow our own forest. We will spend the first few sessions getting the site ready for planting by removing weeds, and then every student will plant their own tree and give it a name. You will also be able to plant shrubs and groundcover plants to make sure we have a thriving, biodiverse ecosystem by the end of the program.
Each session lasts 1.5 hours. Students should wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt. If it is raining, wear waterproof clothes. Rainboots, gloves, and gardening tools will be provided, as well as snacks!
EarthWilders will run twice a year for eight weeks in the fall and the spring. You can participate over as many seasons as you want!
